As I said on Facebook, today I was in Budapest, so I had to think of an adventure that I can do there. Because Budapest is one of the most visited European capitals I decided to take advantage of this occasion and I set as a challenge for myself: to take pictures with 30 people, preferably tourists.

As said, done. After finding a parking spot close to Deak Ter, I went on Vaci utca towards the Fishermen Bastion because I knew that there is full of tourists and it would be easier for me to fulfil the adventure/challenge.

On my way to the Bastion I decided to stop for a second overt the tunnel, at that place I found a group of nine young tourists (I think they were from France, but I might be wrong). The group was with a guide that was telling them about the history of Hungary. After the guide finished and they were getting ready to leave I proposed to them to be part of my adventure. They didn’t hesitate and thus, from my fist try I’ve checked 9 people out of 30.

Seeing that it’s working I got some courage and move on. After taking a tour at the Bastion I realised that it would be simpler to take these photos in front of the National Gallery of Art (the big building with dome from the hill). I “eyed out” a group of spanish people and started to talk with the guide, this time with no luck because it didn’t know english. Not giving up I went to the first group of young people (I can’t say teens, or can I?), actually girls (lucky me 😉 ) and they understood me. The girls were super cool and even put on some coloured hats, they are traveling trough Europe and everywhere they take pictures with those hats.

I didn’t even went to far and I saw a family that was taking pictures. I offered to help, then I asked them for their help 😀 . See, it’s good to help others, they can also help afterwards.

Finally I saw again a group of teens (this time I think they are in their teens) and asked them for help with my adventure. They were so nice that they called for their friends and from 5 people they were 16, thus making them the biggest group I took pictures with.

Egyptians, Spanish and Italians (I think) the largest group, 16 people!

Thus, adding up I found I exceed the 30 people mark, so I decided that it would be a good time to head back home. I would like to thank all whom had taken pictures with me. Thank you, you are all wonderful people 😀 .
